Wiggles Friederic the WalkHigher Beagle
Wiggles
is a 5-year-old boy beagle who started his life living in a girl's college dorm and then with a punk band
(he loves classical music now). He came to us, we think by no accident, to enrich our lives. He needed stability
and we needed his warm spirit. Wiggles is a sensitive and gentle soul who is curious in nature and full of life. He developed
epilepsy early on in life and is being controlled from seizures as best possible with medication. He loves to run fast and
likes to steal inserts from our shoes so you must chase him to retrieve them. We are proud to have Wiggles as the WalkHigher
beagle.
Cracky Aloysius the WalkHigher Cockatiel
Cracky
came to us years ago (he is 17 now!) from a home where he would just sit in his cage that hung from a hook up near the ceiling,
without much interaction. His previous owners felt we might be able to give Cracky a home where he could fly free and sit
on top of his cage, which he now does. Cracky enjoys classical music, like Wiggles, and also loves to sing the Andy Griffith
show tune and Christmas songs. Cracky is also a gentle , loving and sweet soul. He is getting a little crankier as he ages,
but this just seems to make him even more loveable for some reason. We think Cracky is proud to be the WalkHigher cockatiel.
Owl Rescue (Fluffy)
Fluffy was found in the
middle of the road. First, we thought he was just a stick laying in the road, but circled back and found this cute, little,
fluffy owl just sitting in the road, not moving. We picked him up and placed him in the bushes near the side of the road.
He was still there the next morning, so we placed him in a box for transport to the Bird Rescue Center. Doctors said he was
blind from blood clots in his eyes and treated him with medications and love. Weeks later, he was well enough to be taken
back near his home and allowed to fly free.
Beagle Rescue (Baby Girl)
This little beagle
girl was found wandering in front of our house one stormy afternoon. She had no collar and was mud from head to toe.
She was scraggly and thin, but cute as could be. We took her in for a bath and food. She ate ravenously. We originally named
her Eleanor. There was no room at the pet centers when we called, so we took her to the vet and had her fixed up as she had
some health issues. We kept her until we adopted her out to a good family. She was renamed Baby Girl and now lives a happy
life with her new caring family.

Beagle Rescue (Diana)
Diana (our name for her for now) was found by a concerned citizen who was out golfing with his buddies and found
her roaming on the golf course. We ran into them as we were out for our daily walk with Wiggles. He happened by on his golf
cart, with a little beagle by his side who looked frail and ill. She was shaking and obviously very hungry. This man was trying
to find out who she belonged with. When we went to pet her, she crouched down to the ground afraid, displaying signs
of abuse. We took her in and fed her and gave her some flea/tick medication. She slept in the sunshine on Wiggles little bed
for a few hours until her rescuer took her to the Animal Rescue site for evaluation, hoping to find her a good home.
She is a sweet little beagle who we are hoping will find a better home with the love she so deserves.

DUDLEY THE CLASSIC MODERN SHOP DOG
Dudley is a rescue
dog. He used to live in an alley with a homeless fellow who called him "spot spot." He was just rescued this past
spring. His mouth was all scarred up from eating out of jagged tin cans, etc., and he had several other health conditions
that needed to be addressed. But he is pretty spoiled now. He goes to the shop every day and has charmed almost all of the
customers there (mostly the men).
MORGAN AND LENNON
Morgan (on the right) had been with his owner
for quite some time. The owner had two doggies and Morgans' best friend went to doggie heaven after an illness. Lennon
(on the left) came to live with Morgan after she had been attacked by other dogs. She was stuck in a fence, where two large
dogs mauled her and bit her ears off. She has been through a lot and we think Morgan is helping to heal her with his friendship.
She is still timid, but getting better every day with lots of love from her new owners.

CHARLIE AND KAYLA
Charlie (on the left) was a rescue dog. He used
to hang around the Ace Hardware store, where the employees would feed him treats and let him in the store for some attention.
Charlie found his forever home with one of the customers. He is such a rough and tumble BOY dog, with the sweetest disposition.
Kayla (on the right) was a rescue dog from Pet Helpers in Charleston, SC. Her new forever owner fell in love with her online
and she and Charlie are now best of friends (perhaps boyfriend and girlfriend). She has ENDLESS energy. Sometimes we wonder
if she actually ever sleeps.
MISS PUMPKIN THE ROSEBANK FARMS CAT
Miss pumpkin was a stray who wandered
into her new home at Rosebanks Farm on halloween night, thus how she got her name. She looks pretty happy now. She likes to
sit behind the counter and sleep in her chair.
